Program: Doll Tips From One Collector to Another
A participative program, during which members and visitors are invited to share ideas and tips related to doll collecting or doll making.  This can be viewed as an expanded Show and Tell. Share an idea, technique or skill related to your doll experience, and bring dolls or other items to illustrate your tip.  Please limit your presentation to about ten minutes. If club members want to know more about your subject, we can schedule a date for you to present the information as a stand alone program.   A wonderful way to share our knowledge and ideas with each other.
VISITORS: You are cordially invited to attend and participate in this meeting by sharing a doll related tip with the club.  We are a friendly, informal club, with an emphasis on having fun with our dolls.  Hope to see you there............
Here's a little doll related tip:  You know all those shoulder pads you yank out of your clothing?  Do you have a mountain of these too?  Well, now you can put them to good use, especially if you are carrying your dolls around to meetings, classes, etc.  Use them to protect your dolls feet and hands.  Simply sew them into a little mit, and put them on your doll.  You can also sew a couple of them together around the edges, and create a head cover for smaller dolls.  By attaching some ribbon or other tie straps, you can securely tie these on your dolls.  Or use rubber bands.
July 18, 2002 - Boy Dolls by Walda
