Emerald Green is a beautiful fashion doll designed, sculpted and made by Dale.
March 15 - The History of Fashion Dolls by Denise. Wonderful slideshow and talk. For more information about fashion dolls, see Fashion Doll Page by Denise Van Patten, expert guide at About.com.
April 19 - Nancy Ann Story Book Dolls by Marsha. Be sure to see all the dolls and wonderful information supplied by Marsha.
May 24 - Doll Hats: Program and workshop by Denise.
Ooh-la-la... the crowning touch for dolls.
June 21 - Fisher Price "My Friend" play dolls, by Arleen. Play dolls from the 1970s into the 1980s. Vinyl and cloth. History, outfits, dolls.
July 19 - THE ROMANCE - The Life of Lillian Dal Monte (Video Tape). Helen coordinated the program. This is a spectacular and wonderfully entertaining program created for the 1997 Annual Convention of UFDC.
August : No meeting. UFDC National Convention in Atlanta this month.
September: Memorial Service for Dale Barrett.
Oct 18: Vintage Barbie Dolls by Denise. Barbie dolls from their inception
up to the mod dolls. Denise shared a wonderful vintage collection, and lots of information for the serious collector.
Nov 15: Meeting at Helen's house. Members enjoyed viewing Helen's delightful collection of antique dolls, and participated in a discussion about the dolls they brought to the meeting which will be included in our library display. Don't miss the photos of Helen's beautiful dolls.
Dec 13, 1:30 pm: Holiday party held at Denise's doll shop. Take a look at the page of photos to see the toys that were donated.
