In March and April of 2002, the Just About Dolls Club program was actually a free form workshop, where the participants made display boxes for their dolls or other collectibles. A club member, Helen, has in her collection several beautiful display boxes which she brought for club members to view as examples. Helen also helped with the coordination and advice, but the workshop was essentially free-form: each participant planned and executed their own project.

In club meetings prior to the March and April workshops, there were examples of display boxes and baskets on the Show and Tell table, plus some discussion about what is required to make a display box.
