Just About Dolls Club
Dec 14, 2000: Meeting Photos
Childhood dolls that were Christmas presents.
Victorian inspired needlework by one of our members.
Doll in red hat was a member's Christmas gift from her spouse.
Our December meeting was primarily a time for sharing our memories related to dolls and Christmas.  One of our newer members also shared some beautiful examples of Victorian inspired garments, ornaments, accessories, dolls  and a wall hanging that she has made.  These items are decorated with beautiful needlework, old lace and linen, miniature items, buttons, jewelry, and silk ribbon embroidery.

Not shown in the photos are other dolls that were brought to the meeting, including some Nancy Ann Story Book dolls and a Penny Brite set  - all received when our members were children.   Another member also shared some lovely doll stationary that she has designed and produced , and distributed a Christmas card that features a photo of  Miss Emerald Green, a  stunning 26 inch porcelain fashion doll that she designed, sculpted and created.  (Attendees of the Feather River Doll Guild doll show on Dec 16 were lucky enough to see this doll on display.)

Our club is truly a talented and diverse group, with many interests and backgrounds.  Sharing our experiences and knowledge is always a fun and stimulating experience.
